Studio Velzeboer was founded in 2023 by Leonie Velzeboer. After completing a program in furniture making at the Wood and Furniture College in Amsterdam (Hout en Meubileringscollege), I started a furniture making and design studio in a workshop in Amsterdam North.

I create furniture, sculptures and objects with careful attention to detail. By experimenting with shapes, I seek unique yet balanced compositions. I enjoy paying special attention to the finishing process, using both new and traditional methods to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. My aim is to create pieces that will be cherished for generations.

Most of the work displayed here was created during my education, where I spent a lot of time customising the given designs. Now that I have completed my training, I am working on a collection of new designs of my own.
